We are proud to officially announce the thirteenth edition of the FLARE-On challenge! This is a Reverse Engineering contest that runs online for four weeks starting this Friday (September 25th, 2026) at 8pm Eastern. It will run for four weeks and official solutions and all challenge binaries will be available to download at the conclusion of the contest.
The FLARE team has run this renowned capture-the-flag (CTF) competition for over a decade and provided a wealth of fun and engaging challenges for people looking to improve their reverse engineering and malware analysis skills. The challenges start easy and get harder with each stage. Complete all nine stages and earn a spot on our hall-of-fame and, while supplies last, win a small token of our appreciation.
