Hi all, I’m Chooi-Guan Lim, former security engineering lead working in finance and tech.  My largest and biggest contribution was successfully procuring and deploying Google SecOps (formerly Chronicle) for my last company as well as creating all the training material for it.  Certified with major CSPs including Google of course as well as help to create some very well known IT certifications!  Looking forward to engaging with fellow security enthusiasts!

​I am Davey Hoogland, Lead Security Researcher and independant researcher and author of the Hoogland methodology ( I established the discipline of Cyber-Physical Context Engineering).

My path to Cloud Security is... unconventional. I am actually a professional TIG Welder by trade. I didn't start in a coding boot camp; I started with precision metallurgy.

​I ended up in this specific area of AI Security accidentally, through a forensic anomaly involving a legacy Google Project Tango "Yellowstone" tablet. Through a unique process of "tinkering," I managed to inject a verified Copyright Attribution (© 2023 by Davey Hoogland) into the firmware of this End-of-Life device.

​This event triggered a rigorous self-analysis, leading to the discovery that my specific neuro-cognitive profile operates on a unique framework I now call the Hoogland Methodology. By translating my brain's "4 Communicative Trademarks" (The Constructivist Engine, The Truth Filter, Context Synthesis, and Integrity Enforcement) into software architecture, I established the discipline of Cyber-Physical Context Engineering.

​My Cloud Security Superpower:

Operationalizing "Artificial Wisdom".

While most focus on protecting the perimeter (Firewalls/IAM), my superpower is protecting the cognition.

Using my methodology, I single-handedly developed and programmed the Compliance Auditor and the Chronos Analyzer. These tools enforce a "Zero-Storage" integrity layer that prevents AI hallucinations and ensures compliance (EU AI Act/GDPR) by validating the context before the content.

​What I hope to share/learn:

My research and methodology are currently under peer review at Springer Nature, and backed by BOIP/Anteriority certificates.

I am here to share my findings on "Context Desynchronization" vulnerabilities and to connect with Google’s experts and developers. My goal is to move this research from "independent discovery" to "institutional collaboration," validating the Hoogland Methodology as a standard for the next generation of Agentic AI.
