Cases Exceeded SLA field not working on SOC Status dashboard

I've noticed that even though I have cases that have breached SLA open the SOC status widget does not report any cases that have exceed SLA. I've tried exporting the JSON for a test dashboard that uses this widget but can't find anything in there that might need changing. Does anyone have any ideas on how this could be fixed?
