Email Notifications on Case and Task Assignments

Hi All,

We are receiving the above when a Case or Task is assigned via a Playbook but not when it is created manually for instance “Case Task” is this the expected behaviour as it seems a little strange.

It sounds like you may have tried to include a screenshot, but I do not see one. If you are getting email notifications via playbook, but not manually, it sounds like the playbook includes action to provide those notifications. One thing you could do is create a quick action that runs that playbook or some other playbook that just focuses on changing the assignment, for example, and then sending the email notification.

That wasn’t the question, this is turned on however, the notifications are only provided from assignments via a Playbook, is this by Design?

 

If I open a Case > Case Overview > Case Task  and save the task this does not provide a notification however, the Playbook Action “Tools - Create Siemplify Task” does also “Tools - Assign Case to User” does but assigning directly in the Case does not.
