I would like to create some detection rules around Google Workspace App Passwords. I generated a few in an environment, but I canβt find the specific event indicating that an app password was created. Does anyone have any idea, or is it a logging gap?

It looks to be a logging gap. I see a feature request that was created (but then closed) on the Workspace side for the App Password logging.
