Hello Google Cloud Community Managers and Support Team,

Our Google Cloud Platform account was placed under a full account service restriction on October 2, 2026, due to automated abuse/DoS heuristics triggered by an internal stress test.

Context & Root Cause:

  • We were conducting internal performance benchmarking and load testing using k6 against our own backend Cloud Functions and Firestore database for our mobile application (GK Mart).

  • An unoptimized database transaction loop combined with high synthetic request concurrency caused rapid invocations, which automated traffic monitors flagged as abusive activity.

  • There was zero malicious intent, external targeting, proxy relaying, or crypto-mining; this was purely localized backend testing on our own resources.

Corrective Actions Taken:

  1. All automated stress testing and k6 scripts were immediately terminated.

  2. Cloud Functions transaction logic was refactored to eliminate execution contention.

  3. All sensitive credentials, API keys, and environment variables have been rotated and secured.

Current Blocker:

  • An appeal was submitted via the Google Account service restriction form, but no status update or confirmation email has arrived.

  • Firebase Support was contacted under Case 10454773. Support agent Hugo confirmed our projects remain suspended and recommended reaching out to GCP Support / Billing.

  • Because the account-level restriction redirects all console.cloud.google.com URLs directly to [myaccount.google.com/restrictions](https://myaccount.google.com/restrictions), we cannot access standard Cloud Console support channels to file a ticket.

Affected Project IDs:

  • slv-super-market

  • slv-super-market-staging

  • supermarket-app-bad93

Could a Community Manager or Google Cloud specialist please help escalate this ticket internally to the Trust & Safety / Cloud Compliance team to clear this false positive and restore project access?

Thank you for your assistance.
