We have integrated enterprise version of google recaptcha into our site , generated the keys for the same. Registered the domain name while creating the keys. however, while captcha gets rendered on the page, getting an error of "ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type for enterprise key."

We haven't enable pricing for this enterprise version because the usage wouldn't go beyond 1million so billing wont be needed. I wonder would this be a reason for getting this error?

Hello @amrutaAD,

Welcome to Google Cloud Community!

The error message "ERROR for site owner: Invalid key typefor enterprise key" indicates that the key type used for your reCAPTCHA implementation is incorrect. Try to verify the key type and ensure it aligns with the expected format. You might also need to generate a new key with the correct type. Access the reCAPTCHA admin co nsole and generate a new key with the proper type.

I also found a reference that might be useful for you.
Invalid key type

If you are using reCAPTCHA on your site and you see the ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type message, this means that you are using an incorrect reCaptcha key type. For example, V3 keys are not compatible with V2 reCaptcha, and V2 keys are not compatible with Invisible reCaptcha. Key types are not interchangeable.

I also recommend reaching out to reCaptcha Enterprise Support to help you resolve the Invalid key type error if the issue still persists.

Thanks

@Dominik44

Well, I have got these keys, but the names of the keys beat me. Google offers Site Key and Secret Key. Some WordPress contact forms ask me to fill in the Private Key and the Public Key.

Site Key is the Public Key while the Secret Key is the Private Key.
