I am a physician and the founder of Néa, a French digital health project currently preparing its first application for production.
Néa is intended to become a broader digital health ecosystem, with several applications and services planned over time. Our roadmap involves substantial use of cloud services, including AI capabilities, document/OCR processing and secure health-data infrastructure. We are currently evaluating Google Cloud as a long-term technology platform for this ecosystem.
Before scaling our use of Google Cloud, however, we need to complete the HDS v2.0 contractual and compliance requirements applicable to the processing of French health data.
According to Google Cloud’s HDS documentation, Google Cloud is HDS v2.0 certified and an HDS Addendum is available through a Google Cloud sales representative.
Our difficulty is simply reaching the appropriate Google Cloud team.
We have submitted several requests through Google Cloud Sales and Security contact channels and tried the available French telephone contacts, but have not yet been able to reach the appropriate representative. Our recent requests have received neither a response nor an acknowledgement.
This is now becoming a blocking point in our infrastructure decision and production readiness. We deliberately keep our environment restricted from processing real patient data until the contractual and compliance requirements have been properly confirmed.
We are specifically looking for a Google Cloud France contact who can help us with:
- obtaining the Google Cloud HDS v2.0 Addendum;
- confirming the HDS scope applicable to the Google Cloud services we intend to use;
- confirming the contractual and configuration requirements applicable before processing French health data;
- establishing the appropriate Google Cloud relationship as our platform and usage grow.
We would very much like to build this infrastructure on Google Cloud, provided we can establish the appropriate compliance and commercial relationship.
Could a Google employee or Community Manager please help route our request to the appropriate Google Cloud France Healthcare, Compliance, or Sales team?
We are not requesting technical troubleshooting through this public forum and will not share any sensitive project or infrastructure information here. We simply need help establishing contact with the appropriate Google Cloud representative.
