I  uses google captcha v3 for bot protection for submissions , and based on the documentation provided in https://cloud.google.com/recaptcha/docs/migration-overview, seems like we need to move our keys to google cloud.

1. The document says users were notified of the change, but I did not receive any details on the registered gmail account. Can you please let me know how the details are shared so that we don't miss them in future.

2.  Can you please share the exact date by when this needs to be completed? The document says October.

3. After the migration, if we do not wish to make any code change to switch to enterprise api, can you share how the server side validation with siteverify continue to works? Behind the scene is it still using the same private classic key?

4. Please confirm that without any code change, just switching the keys to cloud will be enough for the captcha validation.

To answer your specific question:

  1. The emails were sent to the owners of respective reCAPTCHA site keys. You can check the Admin page to confirm if your site key(s) are associated with the email you think they should be https://www.google.com/recaptcha/admin/site
  2. You are free to perform this migration yourself at any time https://cloud.google.com/recaptcha/docs/migrate-recaptcha but Google will be auto-migrating all remaining site keys by about the end of the year.
  3. You do not need to make any code changes after your site key is migrated. You can continue to call the SiteVerify endpoint and this will continue to work.
  4. Correct, your integration will continue to work after the key is migrated with no code changes.
